Since 1984, Piatt County Services for Seniors (PCSS) has been linking older adults (60+) to the many agencies, services and programs in this area.
Piatt County Services for Seniors is partially funded by East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging. The remaining funding is provided by units of Local Government, various Service Clubs and Business, and Voluntary Participants contributions.
PCSS guides and directs seniors toward resources that meet their individual needs. The senior, their family caregiver or healthcare provider may contact the program office directly for assistance.
Assistance with the following programs is provided:
- Circuit Breaker
- Energy Assistance
- Medicare Drug Coverage
- Illinois Cares Rx
- Homestead Exemption
- Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP)
PCSS staff may provide information and/or services in the senior’s home or in the program office. Appointments are recommended.
